When it comes to scholarships in your Bachelor’s program there are few options. Through the Finnish Language Proficiency scholarship, Metropolia provides €1,000 if they have completed Finnish 1 and Finnish 2 courses with at least a minimum grade of 3 in the first academic year.
In addition, €2,000 is awarded upon completion of Finnish 3 and Finnish 4 courses with a minimum grade of 3 in the second academic year. Similarly, a €3,000 Scholarship is given to international students for passing the YKI test on an intermediate level in the third academic year.
Likewise, for master programs, international students are awarded €1,000, €2,000, and €3,000 for passing the YKI test on basic level grade one, grade two, and international level respectively.
